Ladies and gentlemen, aprons on and egos high—it’s time to make Steak with Special Glaze, Roasted Carrots & Crispy Potato Wedges.


This is the kind of meal that makes your neighbors wonder what’s going on at your house and why they weren’t invited.






🛒 The Cast of

Ingredients

  • 2 top sirloin steaks (or whatever’s in your fridge that moos)

  • 6 oz carrots (they’re vegetables, don’t skip them—you’ll feel guilty)

  • 12 oz potatoes (crispy golden happiness in tuber form)

  • 4 oz mushrooms (flavor sponges, darling)

  • 1 shallot (tiny onion, big drama)

  • ½ oz salted butter (because life’s too short for unsalted)

  • 3 tbsp soy glaze

  • 1 tbsp balsamic vinegar
