This picture tells just part of the story following the recent devesting storms that hit Springfield and Sangamon County.
Today, the Dew Chilli pole stands tattered. Also, today for the very first time we will go inside the building that once was full of life, fun and laughs.
The attention we have been getting about the Dew Pub and Grill has been uplifting. Media calls us daily as it is still very clear that our future is unsure. This link is one of those stories.
Today, we go into the location for the very first time to see firsthand what the future may bring. We've been told by those who have gone inside to prepare ourselves.
But while the Future of the Dew Pub and Grill on Dirksen Parkway remains uncertain. What is certain is what is most important.
No one was hurt, no one was killed.
What is also for certain is that we have a lot to be proud of. Our City Leaders and Crews are to be applauded. To be faced with such a devastating challenge, they took that challenge on and did an amazing job!

We expressed our gratitude during a Radio Interview with Trent Nelson of Midwest Family Broadcasting recently. We told our story and what we experienced firsthand, and how the City responded. In the meantime. We will walk through our doors today. Hoping for the best but thankful the only thing lost was property. For that we are grateful.
